I've been sitting with this thought for a while now.
Every year, birthdays feel a little more like a checkbox and a little less like magic. Dinner, candles, one too many drinks, a fuzzy memory of the morning after. Nice. But not exactly me. Not anymore.
This year I want mornings that feel like beginnings. My body moving, outside air in my lungs, and the people who make me feel like myself: the running and movement community that shows up for the small wins as much as the big ones.
So here's what I've been dreaming up.
